Super Game Coders
Get coding by building games, programming robots and winning various challenges!
The program focuses on equipping children with fundamental coding skills necessary for two key aspects: creating simple games and enhancing incomplete pre-designed games. In the first part, children learn to build their own games, while in the second part, they practice identifying and addressing missing elements in pre-designed games by adding and fixing the corresponding code. Through these activities, the children gain hands-on experience in using and connecting code blocks, and they develop the ability to construct instruction sequences that animate the game’s characters in accordance with the specified game rules.
After learning basic coding skills, the children put their newfound knowledge to the test by programming various types of robots to perform tasks and accomplish missions.
Topics covered: Motion, broadcasting messages, adding special effects, planning, sequencing, repetition, automation and pattern recognition.
Highlights
Develops problem solving skills when building, completing, troubleshooting, and fixing scripts.
Develops logical thinking skills when coding, decoding and estimating.
Generates excitement and a sense of achievement when completing and playing games, and when coding and playing with real robots.
Brings coding to life by watching real robots execute coded instructions.
Encourages teamwork and cooperation.
