Super Coding Bots
Get coding by programming real robots, accomplishing missions, completing tasks, solving puzzles and winning various challenges!
The children are required to send their coding robots on a mission or use them to complete a task; e.g. conduct rescue or delivery missions, solve logic puzzles, find answers to specific questions, decode clues, estimate time and distance, collect the ingredients of a recipe, sort different types of objects and things and much more… Missions and tasks vary according to age and require a range of actions, skills and knowledge.
By instructing robots, the children learn how to use and connect code blocks together to build a sequence of commands, and by solving puzzles and completing tasks they learn about different things according to their year level (e.g. colours, letters, numbers, maths equations, shapes, distances, healthy food, fruits and vegetables, animals, vocabs, etc.).
Each session provides different challenges where the children need to team up and use their coding and various skills and knowledge to compete and win.
Topics covered: Motion, planning, sequencing, sorting, estimating, repetition, loops, automation and pattern recognition.
