Super Explorers Workshop
Bound for Uluru
Learn about Anangu culture and the Aboriginal beliefs by decoding Dreamtime stories, planning routes, and exploring Uluru using programmable robots!
Overview
The children need to find cultural mystery things lost in Uluru. On a life-size mat with cultural signs, pictures and symbols, the children firstly need to plan routes to go to the red rock by completing given sequences of codes and then they need to identify and locate the main characters of some selected Aboriginal Dreamtime stories (e.g. Koockard, Kandju, Linga, Mala, Kurpannga, etc.). After that, the young explorers test their codes and program their robots to meet the characters and collect clues which will help them find what they're looking for in Uluru.
