Super Young Coders

Halloween and Christmas program

Celebrate Halloween and Christmas while learning how to code by solving coding puzzles and programming robots!

Overview

After solving age-appropriate coding puzzles, the children play exhilarating games with real robots. In each game, the children are required to program their robots to complete a mission and save Christmas; e.g. Instruct robots to knock over monsters and zombies, help Santa deliver Christmas presents, avoid obstacles, go through tunnels, find and knock down villains trying to steel presents, etc. Missions and tasks vary according to age level and require a range of actions, skills, and knowledge.

By doing the program the children learn how to use basic instructions, e.g. forward, backward, right, left, go, etc., and how to make a robot move from A to B.

Topics covered: Directional language, motion, planning, sequencing, estimating, and automation.
